Saturday June 13 – 8:00 – 12:30 pm will be the next Work Day on the MRG. At the May 16 Work Day, 10 dump truck loads of railroad ties were removed from the trail, leaving the greenway free of ties from High Street to the back of Terrace View Condominiums. Could we clear the ties all the way up to the bridge over I-89?
We meet at the APD gravel parking lot across from APD’s main entrance. Heavy lifting, work gloves and sturdy boots/shoes required. Bring water bottle and snack. Presence of ticks is likely so deterrent is wise and dark colors are apparently less attractive to ticks. Bring a friend – Let’s get it done!
